Description
Indulge in the comforting and creamy delight of German Spaghetti, a classic dish that combines tender pasta, savory ground beef, and a rich, flavorful sauce. This easy-to-make recipe is perfect for a cozy family dinner or a satisfying weeknight meal.
Ingredients
– 1 pound spaghetti
– 1 pound ground beef
– 1 onion, diced
– 3 cloves garlic, minced
– 2 cups heavy cream
– 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
– 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat, breaking it up as it cooks, until no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
3. Add the diced onion to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes, until translucent. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine. Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened slightly.
5. Reduce the heat to low and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
6. Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to coat the noodles in the creamy sauce.
7. Serve the German Spaghetti warm, garnished with chopped fresh parsley.
Notes
For a creamier texture, you can use half-and-half or a combination of heavy cream and milk. You can also add a pinch of nutmeg or a splash of white wine to the sauce for extra flavor.
