Description

Indulge in the ultimate Garlic Herb Butter Roast Turkey, a flavorful and juicy showstopper that’s perfect for any holiday gathering. This easy-to-prepare recipe infuses the turkey with a delightful blend of garlic, herbs, and rich butter for a truly mouthwatering experience.

Ingredients

– 12-14 lb whole turkey, thawed

– 1 cup unsalted butter, softened

– 4 cloves garlic, minced

– 2 tbsp fresh chopped rosemary

– 2 tbsp fresh chopped thyme

– 2 tsp salt

– 1 tsp black pepper

Instructions

1. 1. Preheat oven to 325°F.

2. 2. In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter, garlic, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper until well combined.

3. 3. Carefully loosen the skin of the turkey and spread the garlic herb butter mixture evenly under the skin, as well as over the top of the turkey.

4. 4. Place the turkey in a large roasting pan and roast for 2.5-3 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F in the thickest part of the breast.

5. 5. Allow the turkey to rest for 20-30 minutes before carving and serving.

Notes

For an extra crispy skin, you can baste the turkey with the pan juices every 30 minutes during roasting. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 4 days or frozen for later use.
