– 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted

– 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

– 1/2 teaspoon salt


Instructions

1. – Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.

2. – In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar until well combined.

3. – Add the eggs, one at a time, whisking well after each addition.

4. – Stir in the red food coloring and vanilla extract until the batter is uniformly colored.

5. – In a separate bowl, sift together the cocoa powder, flour, and salt.

6. – Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined, being careful not to overmix.

7. – Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and use a spatula to spread it evenly.

8. – Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

9. – Allow the brownies to cool completely before cutting and serving.

Notes

For a more intense chocolate flavor, you can add 1/2 cup of mini chocolate chips to the batter. These brownies can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
