Description

Refreshing and easy-to-make Frozen Blue Margarita Jello Shots are the perfect party treat! These boozy, vibrant blue jello shots are made with tequila, blue curacao, and lime juice, then frozen for a fun and festive dessert.

Ingredients

– 1 cup tequila

– 1/2 cup blue curacao

– 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lime juice

– 2 envelopes unflavored gelatin

– 1/4 cup sugar

Instructions

1. In a medium saucepan, combine the tequila, blue curacao, and lime juice. Sprinkle the gelatin over the top and let sit for 5 minutes to bloom.

2. Heat the mixture over medium, stirring constantly, until the gelatin and sugar have dissolved, about 2-3 minutes.

3. Remove from heat and pour the mixture into a 9×13 inch baking dish or individual jello shot molds.

4. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until completely set.

5. Remove from the fridge and invert the jello shots onto a serving tray. Garnish with fresh lime wedges, if desired.

6. Serve chilled and enjoy!

Notes

These Frozen Blue Margarita Jello Shots can be made up to 3 days in advance. Store them in the freezer until ready to serve. Let them sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes before serving for the perfect frozen texture.
