– 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
– 1 tsp dried thyme

– 1/4 tsp black pepper
– 6 soft hamburger buns, toasted

2. 2. Drain any excess fat from the skillet.
3. 3. Add the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
4. 4. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 10-15 minutes, until the sauce has thickened.
5. 5. Divide the beef mixture evenly among the toasted buns.
6. 6. Top each sandwich with a sprinkle of shredded mozzarella cheese.
7. 7. Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
For extra flavor, you can caramelize the onions before adding them to the beef mixture. The sloppy joe filling can also be made ahead of time and reheated when ready to serve.
