Description

Indulge in the rich, velvety goodness of this Espresso Custard Pie. The bold flavor of espresso infuses the creamy custard filling, creating a decadent dessert that’s sure to impress.

Ingredients

– 1 pre-made pie crust

– 3 eggs

– 1 cup heavy cream

– 3/4 cup granulated sugar

– 2 tablespoons espresso powder

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

– 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

1. – Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

2. – In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, sugar, espresso powder, vanilla, and salt until well combined.

3. – Pour the custard mixture into the prepared pie crust.

4. – Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the center is almost set. The pie should still have a slight jiggle in the center when done.

5. – Allow the pie to cool completely before slicing and serving.

Notes

– For a richer flavor, use strong brewed espresso instead of espresso powder.

– Top with whipped cream, a dusting of cocoa powder, or a drizzle of caramel sauce for an extra indulgent treat.
