This Easy Tzatziki Sauce is a creamy, tangy delight that brings authentic Greek flavors to any dish. Made with just a few simple ingredients, it’s perfect for dipping, topping, or marinating.
Ingredients
– 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
– 1 cucumber, peeled, seeded, and grated
– 1 garlic clove, minced
– 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
– 1 tsp dried dill
– 1/4 tsp salt
– 1/8 tsp black pepper
Instructions
1. – In a medium bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, lemon juice, dried dill, salt, and black pepper.
2. – Stir until well combined.
3. – Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
4. – Serve as a dip, topping, or marinade.
Notes
For a thicker consistency, strain the grated cucumber in a cheesecloth or fine mesh sieve before adding to the yogurt. Adjust seasoning to taste. Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
