Ingredients

– 1 cup garlic scapes, chopped

– 1/2 cup pine nuts

– 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

– 1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil

– 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves

– 1/2 teaspoon salt

– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

1. In a food processor, combine the chopped garlic scapes, pine nuts, Parmesan cheese, olive oil, and basil leaves. Pulse until a smooth, creamy pesto forms.

2. Season with salt and pepper, and pulse a few more times to incorporate.
