Description

Ingredients

– 1 lb beef chuck roast, cut into 1-inch cubes

– 1 onion, sliced

– 3 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 tablespoon fish sauce

– 2 tablespoons soy sauce

– 1 tablespoon brown sugar

– 1 teaspoon ground ginger

– 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes

– 1 cup beef broth

– 1 cup fresh Thai basil leaves

– Cooked rice, for serving


Instructions

1. – Add the beef, onion, garlic, fish sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, and red pepper flakes to a crockpot.

2. – Pour in the beef broth and stir to combine.

3. – Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, until the beef is very tender.

4. – Stir in the fresh Thai basil leaves during the last 5 minutes of cooking.

5. – Serve the Crockpot Thai Basil Beef over steamed rice.
