Description
Tender shrimp simmered in a rich, creamy garlic-paprika sauce – a delicious and quick 20-minute meal!
Ingredients
– 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
– 2 tbsp olive oil
– 3 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 tsp paprika
– 1 cup heavy cream
– 1/4 cup grated Parmesan
– 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
1. – In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
2. – Add the shrimp and sauté for 2-3 minutes until starting to turn pink.
3. – Add the garlic and paprika and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
4. – Pour in the heavy cream and Parmesan. Stir to combine.
5. – Simmer for 5-7 minutes, until the sauce has thickened and the shrimp are cooked through.
6. – Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
7. – Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
For extra richness, you can add a splash of white wine or lemon juice to the sauce. Serve over pasta, rice, or with crusty bread for sopping up the creamy sauce.
