Description

Juicy and flavorful, this Cranberry Orange Glazed Turkey Breast is the perfect holiday main dish. The sweet-tart glaze caramelizes on the turkey for a stunning presentation and mouthwatering taste.

Ingredients

– 1 (4-5 lb) turkey breast, bone-in and skin-on

– 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries

– 1/2 cup orange juice

– 1/4 cup brown sugar

– 2 tbsp Dijon mustard

– 1 tsp dried thyme

– 1/2 tsp salt

– 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

1. 1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

2. 2. In a small saucepan, combine the cranberries, orange juice, brown sugar, mustard, thyme, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cranberries have burst and the sauce has thickened.

3. 3. Place the turkey breast in a roasting pan or baking dish. Pour the cranberry glaze over the top, making sure to coat the entire surface.

4. 4. Roast for 60-75 minutes, basting with the glaze every 15 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.

5. 5. Remove from oven and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For best results, use fresh cranberries if available. The glaze can also be made a day in advance and refrigerated until ready to use. Leftover turkey can be used in sandwiches, salads, or soups.
