Description
Elevate your seafood game with these delectable Crab-Stuffed Salmon Fillets, a restaurant-quality main dish that’s surprisingly easy to make at home. Tender salmon fillets are filled with a creamy, savory crab stuffing for a decadent and flavorful meal.
Ingredients
– 4 (6-ounce) salmon fillets
– 8 ounces lump crab meat, drained and flaked
– 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
– 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
– 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
– 1 tablespoon lemon juice
– 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
– 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
– 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. In a medium bowl, combine the crab meat, panko breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, parsley, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create the crab stuffing.
3. Using a sharp knife, make a horizontal cut along the thickest part of each salmon fillet, being careful not to cut all the way through. Open the fillets like a book.
4. Divide the crab stuffing evenly among the four salmon fillets, pressing it gently into the center.
5. Place the stuffed salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
6. Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and the stuffing is heated.
7. Serve the Crab-Stuffed Salmon Fillets immediately, garnished with additional parsley, lemon wedges, or your favorite sides.
Notes
For an extra flavor boost, add a sprinkle of Old Bay seasoning or minced garlic to the crab stuffing. You can also use panko or regular breadcrumbs, depending on your preference.
