Description

Indulge in the ultimate comfort food with this Coquette Rosa Pizza topped with elegant prosciutto roses. A quick and easy recipe that’s perfect for any occasion, this pizza features a crisp, golden crust, a rich and creamy sauce, melted cheese, and a stunning arrangement of delicate prosciutto roses.

Ingredients

1 pound pizza dough, store-bought or homemade

1 cup marinara sauce

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

8 ounces thinly sliced prosciutto

1 tablespoon olive oil

Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).

2. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a 12-inch circle.

3. Transfer the dough to a pizza pan or baking sheet.

4. Spread the marinara sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border.

5. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.

6. Arrange the prosciutto slices in a rose pattern on top of the cheese, overlapping the slices slightly.

7. Drizzle the olive oil over the prosciutto roses.

8. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.

9. Bake the pizza for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

10. Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For a more elegant presentation, you can use prosciutto di Parma or Serrano ham instead of regular prosciutto. You can also experiment with different cheese blends, such as adding a sprinkle of Parmesan or crumbled feta.
