Ingredients

– 2 cups all-purpose flour

– 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

– 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

– 1 cup granulated sugar

– 2 large eggs

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

– 1/2 cup milk

– 1/2 cup red and green sprinkles


Instructions

1. – Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 12-cup muffin tin with paper liners.

2. – In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

3. – In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.

4. – Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients in three additions, alternating with the milk, mixing just until combined.

5. – Fold in the sprinkles.

6. – Scoop the batter into the prepared muffin cups, filling them about 3/4 full.

7. – Bake for 18-20 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

8. – Allow the cupcakes to cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
