Description

Savor the perfect balance of sweet and smoky flavors with these incredibly tender and juicy Cherry Chipotle BBQ Ribs. The combination of tart cherries, bold chipotle spices, and a quick homemade barbecue sauce creates an irresistible glaze that will have your taste buds dancing.

Ingredients

– 2 racks baby back ribs

– 1 cup cherry preserves

– 2 tablespoons chipotle chili powder

– 1 tablespoon smoked paprika

– 1 teaspoon garlic powder

– 1 teaspoon onion powder

– 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar

– 1/4 cup brown sugar

– 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

– 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

– Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. – Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

2. – In a small bowl, mix together the cherry preserves, chipotle chili powder, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Set aside.

3. – In a separate bowl, whisk together the apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce to make the barbecue sauce.

4. – Season the ribs generously with salt and pepper.

5. – Grill the ribs for about 15-20 minutes, flipping occasionally, until they start to become tender.

6. – Brush the ribs with the cherry chipotle glaze and continue grilling for another 10-15 minutes, basting with the glaze every few minutes, until the ribs are caramelized and cooked through.

7. – Remove the ribs from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes.

8. – Serve the Cherry Chipotle BBQ Ribs warm, with the remaining barbecue sauce on the side for dipping.

Notes

For even more flavor, you can marinate the ribs in the cherry chipotle mixture for 30 minutes to an hour before grilling. Adjust the chipotle chili powder to your desired spice level. Leftover ribs can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
