Ingredients
– 4 large apples, cored and sliced into 1/4-inch thick rounds
– 1 cup granulated sugar
– 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
– 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, combine the apple slices, sugar, and cinnamon. Toss to coat the apples evenly.
2. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
3. Add the coated apple slices to the skillet and cook, stirring occasionally, for 15-20 minutes, or until the apples are tender and the sugar has caramelized.
4. Remove the Candied Apple Slices from the heat and let cool slightly before serving.
