Description

These Buffalo Cauliflower Bites are a healthier, flavor-packed alternative to traditional wings. With a crispy exterior and a delicious buffalo sauce, they make the perfect appetizer or snack.


Ingredients

– 1 head of cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets

– 1 cup all-purpose flour

– 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or regular milk)

– 1 teaspoon garlic powder

– 1 teaspoon onion powder

– 1/2 teaspoon paprika

– 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

– 1/2 cup buffalo sauce

– 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted


Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, almond milk, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper until a smooth batter forms.

3. Add the cauliflower florets to the batter and toss to coat evenly.

4. Arrange the battered cauliflower in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.

5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway, until the cauliflower is crispy and golden brown.

6. In a separate bowl, whisk together the buffalo sauce and melted butter.

7. Toss the baked cauliflower in the buffalo sauce mixture until evenly coated.

8. Serve the Buffalo Cauliflower Bites warm, with your desired dipping sauces on the side.

Notes

For extra crispiness, you can also try air frying the battered cauliflower instead of baking. Adjust the cooking time as needed. You can also experiment with different buffalo sauce flavors or use a combination of buffalo sauce and ranch or blue cheese dressing.
