Ingredients
– 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
– 4 oz (113g) blue cheese, crumbled
– 1/2 cup (60g) walnuts, chopped
– 2 tbsp (6g) fresh thyme leaves
– 1 egg, beaten
– 1 tbsp (15ml) water
Instructions
1. 1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. 2. Unfold the puff pastry sheet and roll it out into a 12-inch square.
3. 3. Sprinkle the crumbled blue cheese, chopped walnuts, and thyme leaves evenly over the puff pastry.
4. 4. Starting from one side, tightly roll up the puff pastry, creating a long log.
5. 5. Cut the log into 12 equal pieces and arrange them in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet, cut-side up.
6. 6. In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and water to create an egg wash.
7. 7. Brush the tops of the puff pastry twirls with the egg wash.
8. 8. Bake for 18-22 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and puffed.

Notes
