This Garlic Parmesan Crusted Halibut is a quick and easy seafood dish that’s packed with flavor. The tender, flaky halibut is topped with a crispy, cheesy breadcrumb crust for an irresistible texture and taste.
Ingredients
– 4 halibut fillets
– 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
– 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 2 tablespoons butter, melted
– 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
1. – Preheat oven to 400°F. Grease a baking sheet or line with parchment paper.
2. – In a shallow bowl, mix together the Parmesan, panko, garlic, melted butter, parsley, salt, and pepper.
3. – Place the halibut fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Evenly divide the Parmesan mixture on top of each fillet, pressing gently to adhere.
4. – Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and the topping is golden brown.
5. – Serve immediately, garnished with extra parsley if desired.
Notes
For extra flavor, you can add a squeeze of lemon juice over the fish before baking. This dish also pairs well with roasted vegetables or a fresh salad.
