Description

Indulge in the flavors of classic baklava with this easy, make-ahead overnight oats recipe. Creamy, cinnamon-spiced oats are layered with chopped walnuts and a drizzle of honey for a delightful breakfast treat.


Ingredients

– 2 cups rolled oats

– 2 cups unsweetened almond milk

– 1/4 cup honey, plus more for drizzling

– 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

– 1/2 cup chopped walnuts


Instructions

1. In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, almond milk, 1/4 cup honey, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Stir until well mixed.

2. Divide the oat mixture evenly between 4 jars or containers. Cover and refrigerate overnight, or for at least 4 hours.

3. When ready to serve, top each portion of overnight oats with a sprinkle of chopped walnuts and a drizzle of honey.

Notes

– For a creamier texture, use 2 1/2 cups of milk.
