Ingredients
– 24 fresh oysters, shucked
– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
– 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
– 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
– 2 tablespoons finely chopped parsley
– 1 tablespoon finely chopped chives
– 1 tablespoon lemon juice
– 1 teaspoon minced garlic
– 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
– Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter, panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, chives, lemon juice, garlic, and cayenne pepper. Season with salt and black pepper.
3. Arrange the shucked oysters on a baking sheet or in a baking dish. Spoon the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the top of the oysters.
4. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and crispy.
5. Serve the Baked Oysters Rockefeller immediately, garnished with additional parsley and lemon wedges.
