Description

Irresistible bacon-wrapped dates stuffed with creamy, tangy goat cheese – the perfect bite-sized appetizer that’s easy to make and sure to impress your guests.

Ingredients

– 12 Medjool dates, pitted

– 4 oz goat cheese, softened

– 6 slices bacon, cut in half

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. Cut each date lengthwise and remove the pit. Stuff each date with about 1 teaspoon of the softened goat cheese.

3. Wrap each stuffed date with a half slice of bacon, securing it with a toothpick.

4. Arrange the bacon-wrapped dates on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

5. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the cheese is slightly melted.

6. Remove the toothpicks and serve the bacon-wrapped dates warm.

Notes

For best results, use high-quality Medjool dates and creamy, tangy goat cheese. You can also try variations with different cheese fillings, such as cream cheese or blue cheese. These are best served immediately, but leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
