Description
These Bacon Parmesan & Chive Egg Clouds are a delightful bite-sized appetizer or brunch dish. Fluffy, cheesy egg clouds are topped with crispy bacon and fresh chives for a perfect balance of flavors and textures.
Ingredients
– 6 large eggs, separated
– 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
– 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
– 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
– 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Grease a 12-cup muffin tin.
2. In a large bowl, beat the egg whites with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form.
3. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg yolks. Gently fold the yolks into the whipped egg whites.
4. Fold in the parmesan cheese and chives.
5. Scoop the egg mixture evenly into the prepared muffin cups.
6. Bake for 15-18 minutes, until the egg clouds are lightly golden and set.
7. Remove from the oven and top each egg cloud with crumbled bacon.
8. Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
These egg clouds are best served fresh, but leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave before serving.
