Description

These Bacon-Crusted Cheddar Jalapeño Sliders are a delightfully flavorful and easy-to-make weeknight meal. The crispy bacon crust complements the melted cheddar and spicy jalapeños for an irresistible bite-sized sandwich.

Ingredients

– 1 lb ground beef

– 8 oz sharp cheddar cheese, sliced

– 6 jalapeño peppers, sliced

– 8 slices bacon, cooked until crispy

– 12 Hawaiian rolls, split in half

– 1 tbsp olive oil

– 1 tsp garlic powder

– 1 tsp onion powder

– 1/2 tsp salt

– 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

1. 1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

2. 2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

3. 3. Divide the beef mixture into 12 equal portions and shape into small patties.

4. 4. Place the patties on a baking sheet and top each one with a slice of cheddar cheese and a few jalapeño slices.

5. 5. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the beef is cooked through.

6. 6. Meanwhile, place the bacon slices on a baking sheet and bake until crispy, about 8-10 minutes.

7. 7. Remove the baked sliders and bacon from the oven.

8. 8. Assemble the sliders by placing a beef patty on the bottom half of each Hawaiian roll. Top with a crispy bacon slice.

9. 9. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For a spicier version, use more jalapeño slices. You can also try different cheese varieties like pepper jack or Monterey jack.
