Ingredients
– 8 taco shells
– 16 oz cream cheese, softened
– 1/2 cup granulated sugar
– 1 tsp vanilla extract
– 2 apples, peeled and sliced
– 1/4 cup caramel sauce (optional)
Instructions
1. – Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. – In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth.
3. – Add the sugar and vanilla extract, and continue mixing until well combined.
4. – Spoon the cheesecake filling into the taco shells, dividing it evenly.
5. – Arrange the apple slices on top of the cheesecake filling.
6. – Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the shells are lightly golden and the filling is set.
7. – Drizzle with caramel sauce, if desired.
8. – Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
For a crisper taco shell, you can bake the empty shells for 5 minutes before filling them. The caramel sauce is an optional topping, but it adds a delightful flavor.
