Description
This 2-Ingredient Watermelon Sorbet is a refreshing and easy-to-make frozen treat that’s perfect for hot summer days. With just two simple ingredients – fresh watermelon and sugar – you can create a delightfully sweet and icy sorbet that’s bursting with natural watermelon flavor.
Ingredients
– 4 cups cubed watermelon
– 1/4 cup granulated sugar
Instructions
1. In a high-powered blender or food processor, blend the cubed watermelon and sugar until smooth and the sugar is fully dissolved.
2. Pour the watermelon mixture into a shallow, freezer-safe container and place in the freezer.
3. Every 30 minutes, remove the container from the freezer and stir the mixture with a fork to break up any ice crystals that have formed.
4. Continue this process for 2-3 hours, or until the sorbet has reached your desired frozen consistency.
5. Scoop the 2-Ingredient Watermelon Sorbet into serving dishes and enjoy immediately.
Notes
– For a creamier texture, add 1-2 tablespoons of light corn syrup or honey to the watermelon mixture before freezing.
– Vary the sweetness by adjusting the amount of sugar to your taste preferences.
– Store any leftover sorbet in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 months.
